Science w/ Values is structured and reflects the average Scientific Method, preparing students for advanced courses in higher levels of education. Lessons include a scripture correlation with the scientific concept of the activity, integrating faith with learning and helping students apply a biblical worldview to their surroundings.
We'll be teaching basic Life,Earth, and Physical Science through a unique combination of direct instruction and fun, hands-on activities. Each lesson is tied directly to the National Science Education Standards and uses an inquiry-based approach designed to enhance learning.
Scholars start with an overview designed to engage their interest. Followed by direct instruction component in the form of a story. Designed to foster the needs of Emergent, Transitional, and Fluent readers. Along with a hands-on activity focusing on one key science concept, followed by group discussion and an online component to verify student's mastery of the key concept.
